1957 d doubled die date

hey i just found a 1957 doubled die 1957d.you can see it on all the numbers in the date the 9 is very doubled.when compared to other 1957 it is twice as thick on the date and you can see the lines on top of the other. View attachment untitled.bmp

try posting a clearer shot. The one you have is very blurry. I know that you are limited to the size of the image to download. So if you like download the pictures to photobucket first then post them on this site

It's Machine Doubling Damage, not an error

 

here is a pic on left of regular 57 on right doubled the pic you show is not the same and the doubling is off the left side you can see it in the 9 good its got the 9 and a 9 over and on top on thr left

 

o and the 9 has a severe hook that points right back at the 5
