Could this be a 1980 d over d rom-002? Possibly a later stage?

    I'm just using variety vista to check all my older Penny's looking for anything and I noticed that the d looks like it could be the rpm-002 but the sarlifs stick out little bit more then what it shows on the website what do you guys think?     No, I don't believe so, as there is none of the curved side visible in the inside of the D of about the same amount. Imagine 2 plastic "D"s and slide the top one to the right, the inner edge of the bottom one would protrude like the tips you see.

    Appears that the MM took a hit to me. Also damage to the date. PMD IMO.

    Looks like that D mint mark took a small hit on the left side and a bit harder towards the bottom.
