We have 4 foot drifts in some areas, but straight snow, about a foot, not much more. The thing with these high totals is that people measure in a drift. How bout you?

Love the picture of the cat and moose. Here's my contribution, footprints on the deck. These are a result of compressing some of the early snowfall before the wind really hit and blew snow off of the deck. I took this photo on Saturday during the storm. I'm on the north shore of Long Island 60 miles east of NYC. I had areas such as the deck with no accumulated snow, and others areas in the yard with three foot drifts. The foot prints remind me of how Arthur Murry dance studios would show dance steps so I am calling these the steps for a new dance called "The Blizzard."

no snow here in South Florida, but there was some wind over the weekend and mid 40s, feeling like mid 30s with a wind chill effect. Gotta say, I left the north to avoid this kind of thing, and I know it won't last long, but news says it might be a rough couple weeks with the cold snaps.

Yikes. it's currently like 63F and should get to 70F.... burrrrrrrr. LOL
I don't miss a darn thing about winter at all, this is honestly bad enough for me, anything more is intolerable. I might compain when it's 92F feels like 103F buit ya know what, I really shouldn't I can live like that, I think I was a lizard in a past life.

If you were, then you'd be falling out of the palm trees during that cold snap. I live in Central Florida and we had a snap freeze. I hate the cold!
