I would say these are pieces of eight but it's not Spanish nor 1600'spretty neat!!!!wonder why and how they did it.
Nice split die crack and he has both pieces. The only problem I see is, it’s not natural, just home made. Lol
My guess is this was done with a jeweler ‘s saw, manually operated. Looks like they tried to turn too sharply after starting between the 9 and 2.
