Well here's my first for 2022 the Lincoln cent from Philly! all in change today from buying dog food at Publix.
My sympathies go with you. I was sure that m 2021 American Liberty High Relief Gold Coin would be lost. I was sure that the Mint would make me sign for it upon delivery, as is their policy, however, I found it on my porch as I watched the UPS Delivery Person sign my name as received. Anyone else have this happen. I did get it, and it is beautiful. I have the MMIX Ultra High Relief $20 Gold Coin, I missed the 2015W American Liberty High Relief Gold Coin, but got the Silver Facsimile Proof Coin. I also got the 2017W American Relief $100 Gold Proof Coin, and the $10 1/10th 2018W Gold Proof Coin, missed the $100 2019W American Relief High Relief Gold Coin, but also got the 2019P, 19DB, American Liberty High Relief Silver Medal. My last American Liberty is the 2021W $100, American Liberty High Relief Gold Coin. I couldn't miss that coin with the bucking horse on the Obverse of the the coin. I am a sucker for "different" types of coins.
Just wondering from your comment...are we possibly getting mixed up with the obv and rev on this/these issues...? I know some choose to have the reverse show on/as the main side of the slab...where the obverse more typically appears below the label. To me, the obv was/is/always will be Washington. Will reserve further comment until it's more clear to me which side appears as "classic looking." Thanks.
I wish the coin design selection committee would get some older people on it. That quarter design leave me flat. So much more could have been put on that quarter, IMHO.
I often wonder who sits on that committee. perhaps they don't pay much attention to their input. I could think of several people here who should be on it.
Pretty cool! I hear the Denver minted coins are being found out in circulation first. I haven't gotten any of them yet. I think you have a winner there!
Well this makes the 2022 cent and the dime for me, still no 2022 quarter found yet. They aren't full torch though, judging by the rims I'd say the obverse is getting the hammer die this year and reverse is the anvil die.
