Can't decide on the grade F15 or VF20

I am still learning the grading standards and am trying to get it correct.

I am having a hard time deciding on this one.

What do you think F15 VF20 or something other?

I do see a small rim ding on the reverse So maybe F12

 

I think it is VF-25, nice coin.

but it is still a good idea to get a good book so you can read what to look for as far as Strike,Luster and such.

I did get a grading book. I am using "The Official Guide to Coin Grading and Counterfit Detection"

I am still getting used to the standards and this one is tricky in my opinion

That is a 25/30 without the ding. I am guessing it would stay VF.

 

I will go with VF20 then.

I see you've already made up your mind on the grade.

I just need to get my jabs in on the net grading system. It's extremely subjective, and not as accurate as I think it needs to be.

If this coin were in my collection, I'd call it VF-20 details, minor reverse rim bump.

 

I'll give it a 25, a rim ding will bring it down...
