1907 indian head penny

Wondering if anyone knows what would make a 1907 indian head penny appear silver? I looked online and couldn't find any answers

sometimes bored people will mercury or Zinc coat them out of boredom a picture might help though with the answer, front and back. Here's examples

 

Pictures?I'm pretty sure it's not an error most likely plated,a ton of possibilities including mercury!!be careful.
