I have a penny that you can see 1975 D and a raised blank image of Lincoln. The back of the penny, you can see part of the monument and some of the word America. I have never cleaned the penny and am having a hard time trying to describe what it looks like so I can out more about this penny! Please...can someone help me!!??

All environmental damage. The coin has been exposed to some kind of corrosive.

Just damaged e.t.c I don't think its worth a cent anymore or spendable. You can get rid of it by putting it in a roll of cents.

looks like zincoln cent left alone with water or some moisture for a while, not an error. Welcome to coin Talk and keep asking questions, that's one way to learn.

Just damage, most likely from sitting in a fountain or water. Drop it one of those "need a penny" jars at a store.
