oh and before anyone says not real, or this one is not right, or why did you not show edge, these were all bought from Fred Weinberg..so any negative thoughts, forget them please, i trust him as a very knowledgeable expert in the field of numismatics & errors
Oh John, You're such a worrywart Most of us know who he is.. Fred once sold me a coin that wasn't a true mint error. He acknowledged the mistake it and offered to take it back. I said no and I kept it. Just show your coins. Don't worry about what anyone says about them.
@john65999 Yesterday I posted a tripled clipped incomplete planchet. One member didn’t like my last photo because I touched the coin. Every precaution was taken by me but it was the only way to show the edge. And he mentioned it twice. Don’t be so concerned about it. If we want to beat you up, we’ll find a way. LOL Nice collection of incomplete planchets.
Oh, I'll probably attend a few shows in the future - Long Beach next month will be the last show I have a table at.... I do plan on going to FUN '23 for a few days to socialize, catch up on gossip, etc. And since LB is just an hour drive, I'll go there on a Thursday (after this next show), just to have lunch with some buddies and shoot the bull..........
i just had some today from a diff vendor, 3 fake (filed) clips, within 2 hours refunded, yes, even the gods make mistakes (hey they created me, right??) how ya doin no, but at the coin shows i go to, 2 of the error dealers i deal with know and met him, someday, perhaps...
