In spelling, no it’s not close. But in government work, it’s the fast, most direct route.

I’m sure it will show up but who knows when. Patience will help. You’ll look in your mailbox one day and surprise.

I was getting upset myself at the snails-pace of NGC on my Off metal 1920 cent. Then I looked that the date I sent it in. 1/10/22. Guess I was getting too antsy. good thing I kept it to myself until now. :muted::banghead::bag: They just got it, not opened it yet to evaluate. So YES patience people, I would have looked like a major fool.

Actually the registered package goes from Boston MA to Manchester NH. Regular packages go through nashua nh distribution center. I'm starting to think the problem lies there. Because both my "in transit arriving late" are due to show up there next...

That's where the package research case was created. The seller sent in a request looking for it. It should show up in the nashua nh distribution center next and then go to Manchester nh and then to me in Weare nh. That's what that entry is for. It left Sioux falls sd on January 11 and hasn't been seen since. Sometimes it'll be like this 3 or 4 days but not 12

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but you might want to forget about that one for a LONG time. They won't even open that package until March most likely, they're currently opening packages from November

As explained to me, registered packages are supposed to be the most secure. Each person that receives it and checks it in is duly responsible for it until it is checked in by the next person. Chain of custody to know it is secure.

I had one shipment from Delray Beach (1.5 hrs away) sit in Miami (3 hrs away) for 2 weeks before I had my local office send an email to their supervisor. It started moving ... to the Orlando (2 hrs away) processing enter to be sent to me. 3 weeks to go 1.5 hours. (I should have gone down and picked it up but hindsight is 20/20)

Registered Mail is the most secure and safest way to send mail. It just takes longer. Why? It’s kept under lock and key and every time it changes hands, someone signs for it. It even has a lock on the heavy canvas bag and the truck driver signed for it. At a processing plant, that bag goes straight to the register room, a room were the people are locked in. Video cameras are recorded and filed.

That’s why it’s safe and slow. The insurance is less as well but it’s costly to start. Everything else travels in the regular mail stream. Express is costly as well but it always goes out on the first truck. You must weight the differences.

If you go to NGCs "Services & Fees" page under the Submit heading on home page you will see at the top of the chart what mail they're opening. They are currently opening mail delivered Nov. 17th. So unless you paid for express or higher, it'll be two months before they open your box. May as well forget about it.

I order some supplies and stuff from Littleton on 1/11 shipped by UPS Mail Innovations which was transferred to USPS on 1/13.

Still haven't received it and no updates at all. Once a package makes it to the Philadelphia sorting center I always receive it within 2 days after.

UPS mail innovations is a PITA! The transfer to USPS scan is for a container of packages accepted at the plant. Half the time the manifest will show 100 packages when only 30 are in the container. I don't know what they do to screw it up so badly, but I can see the tracking # for every package in the container and how many were actually scanned.
Then a few days to a week later, the package will show up at the delivering Post Office from a UPS truck drop off. IT NEVER WAS IN THE CONTAINER DROPPED OFF AT THE PLANT! It is so frustrating as the person at the PO who has to answer the customers inquiries. All UPS will tell them is check w/ the Post Office because we gave it to them.

I've had a Littleton order sit for 10 days (Urbancrest OH) waiting to get into USPS. That shipping methods sucks. With the premiums and such that Littleton charges...we should have next day delivery!!!
