Coin A light steel blue hue...bright luster

Coin B matte silver tone...softer luster

    Both specimens are raw.

Normally, I like the flashy white, but for some reason, I would prefer B when comparing both nickels.
Just curious, why do you ask?

    #2 has much cleaner surfaces.

No. 2. I like the blue hue on number one but two is a much better looking coin overall.

Number 2 is the better choice in the image @10 megs coins do give up every touch on them ,however at arms length coin 1 out shines, and looks like a blue star..... but yes I agree with 2 . I found coin 1 around the house and knew I had put it in the 2x2 for some reason its color.

I knew I preferred #2 even as #1 was still loading.

The soft luster on #2 is probably caused mostly by the haze which would probably come off completely in an alcohol soak.
