Ahhh, the joys of senility. I thought I sent out the 1968 D to be imaged at the same time as some other Washingtons recently, but I ended up getting images of some silver Washingtons I didn't know I had sent, but not the 1968 D, as I had not included it in the package. C'est la vie. So, here are the 1968 P and 1969 PD Washingtons for my toner Dansco. The images were done by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.
Nice eye. Personally, I find the clad coinage much more appealing with a nice subdued finish from age or a slight touch of color than bright and shiny. The 1968 is about as far as I'd go with color.
I like how his images give you an idea as to the luster while still capturing everything else. Thank you for sharing, Sky.
