1983 Kennedy Mint or Post Error?

    This is my # 2. Got it today and thought it was kinda interesting.

    Any ideas or advise as to this one?

    I would say struck through but what? maybe a bugger I don't know.

    I was thinking more along the lines of ear wax.

    All joking aside, if not struck through, maybe there was something wrong with the planchet, before it was struck?

    At first I was thinking lamination error, but the close up pics says no to the lamination error. I think it is post mint damage, but I think you could get it slabbed by SGS as a top 100 Ear wax Vam in MS 65. ;-)
