My grandson grew up with a Pooh Bear. He's 15 now, and still keeps Pooh close whenever he can. God love that boy/ young man.

I'm afraid I have no coins, ancient or otherwise, depicting bears. But here is one of my favorite possessions: a letter that A.A. Milne wrote to my father in 1927, when my father was seven years old, in response to a letter my father had sent him asking what the A.A. stood for: And indeed he stopped after Now We Are Six and the second Pooh book (The House at Pooh Corner) were published. But despite being grown up, I will never forget how much I loved those books, as my father did before me and my son after me.
We are actually in the pediatric ER right now with the newest tadpole. He is wrapped up in a Winnie the Pooh blanket that has been used by each of his siblings before him and has served them well.

Don't have a Bear in the collection. My son and daughter loved Pooh books and videos. Ahhh, those were the days. Reading until the kids on either side of me fell asleep, or sometimes Daddy fell asleep first!
A few years ago my cousin's daughter graduated from HS and went to Baylor. In honor of that, I sent her a bear coin. Funny thing is both her parents are Texas A&M aggies.
