Is this an error on this Quarter or is this just normal? The 9 is short and is laying on the rim as well as the other numbers in the year 1982. The "I" (In God We Trust) also touches the rim of the quarter. I have another photo from eBay (last photo) attached as well for an example (pictured without the arrows). Please let me know what you all think. If it appears not to be a keeper, I will toss it back into circulation.
Just a personal note here; I have been keeping all of the eagle back quarters as they won't be making any more. Might be my folly, but who knows what my heirs might get for them?
