My lowest mintage coin is my 1824 quarter, with a suspected mintage of 16,000.

Pretty sure this is my lowest mintage US quarter at 80,590 (picked it from a cull silver bin):

1953 no arrows h 10 mintage 138,000 then most melted due to the coins weight in spot silver was worth more than face value. 20211119_203706.jpg 20211119_203649.jpg

Not my photo, my purchased-from-the-Mint example is in the SDB:

Uncirculated, mintage 3,338, even lower than the proof. No one cares. It trades a little bit above melt.

Proof mintage of 625, and only about 20,000 business strikes:

My 1884 Seated Liberty quarter proof, graded PCGS PR62, is by far the lowest mintage coin in my collection with only 875 pieces produced. It isn’t a key date, but all Seated Liberty proofs have minuscule mintages.

Sorry I am not a D Carr fan....at all ! Would rather see posts of REAL coins medals etc....minted by a legitimate goverment posted in the thread. Thats mintages were caused or due to historical reasons.
