    I agree with @Collecting Nut . Too much lighting. Try a program called PhotoScape to tone down it down some and other editing tools.;)

    I think you need to work on photographing your coins (and this from someone that can't take a good coin picture himself).

    Another free program that you might check out is LunaPic.

    Also, I think the lens on your phone camera is smeared. Try a little glass cleaner/windex on a soft cloth to wipe it off - it'll stop that glare and may even help the autofocus.

    What do people do with all their freaky, disfigured quarters, dimes and nickels? There ought to be a "Ripley's Believe It Or Not" for all of these misbegotten, torn-up, left-behind clad coins, to which the finders of same may directly submit for validation and publication? Perhaps professional grading services can be persuaded to offer,...er,... grading service, perhaps at a reduced fee scale for disfigured pocket change and dammit!; be grateful for the increased call on their expert services!?
