it has a bird on one side with deutches reich other side 50 with reichspfennig wheat with a j spelling might be off a lil what is it and what to clean it with thank u
Is it made of Nickel or Aluminum? Aluminum would be really light? and are you referring to a ring of oak leaves and acorns around the reverse or two oak leaves with a J in the center, I do not believe that Germany had a 50 Pfennig in 1935 with Wheat on it?
KM#49, Weimar Republic (Germany between WWI and the rise of Hitler), struck in nickel, and described in the Standard Catalog of World Coins as The "J" mintmark is for Hamburg, one of six active mints, which struck 1,635,000 of the year's total output of approximately 14.2-million. In the 2007 35th Ed. it is valued at $3 F, $14 VF, $34 XF and $100 Unc. The best way to "clean" it is to leave it alone.
