The edelweiss flower (Leontopodium alpinum) symbolizes devotion and deep love, as well as patriotism and sacrifice. Don't have an ancient with an Edelweiss, but maybe you can find an ancient coin on the web with one, while waiting at the hospital. Maybe back then the ancients didn't know the flower or they didn't put flowers on coins? I'm just trying to keep you distracted
Thanks all. We are checked in and now the wait begins. Plenty of purdy coins to keep me occupied and not stressing. Much appreciated!

Thanks We are juat watching tv now. Baby is doing well on the monitor. Mom is good. I'm stuck on a crummy uncomfortable couch.
Great to hear that baby and mom are doing well. It's always such a relief to hear that first cry of the newborn. Congratulations to all! Best wishes to your family.
Best of luck! Our little one is just two weeks away from his first birthday - enjoy the time; it goes by way too fast!
My father's mother used to enjoy telling people that she had five sons and each of them had a sister. The whole truth was that she had six kids: five boys and one girl so technically each one did have a sister. I knew them all and always felt a little sorry for my aunt. I wish I could remember what I have posted here before. This one was taken with a lens I bought in 1967 when I was first starting to take photos. At that time I had not thought of photographing coins. Wishing all of you the best.
Waiting with bated breath to hear the result. All the best for y'all!! (I was with my missus for all 3 so I do understand) Here's an interesting pick up from a Coinstar this week. 1979D Quarter, missing clad on reverse.
Following @Roman Collector, I think I've found another image of your impending family. I guess you're the photographer, because you're not in it!
