    Nice find. It looks like it was struck with a severely abraded reverse die face and Struck Thru Debris on the right side of the Monticello.

    I may be showing my ignorance, but wouldn't that be a damaged planchet and not a strike through? The damage is UNDER the devices, meaning it was there BEFORE the coin was struck. Please correct and educate me if I'm wrong. Always happy to learn as I go, no matter my age.
