Looking through some 1958 D LWC's I found 11 with the same die cracks on the obverse and reverse. There is a crack on the head that stops just short of becoming a "spike head". And there is a crack along the length of the left-hand wheat stalk.
I put one example complete and then another example. They are all very much the same on all 11 coins.

Nice die pair match up. Thats a good % for one roll.
    Do any show crack progression?
I found four die matching 1970-S in a roll. I matched them by die cleaning that left raised line on the surface of the coins. Fun stuff.
I got 4 crack heads from a 1957 roll. more fun stuff.

There was some progression, but not enough to be significant. I found 7 in this roll with a different crack and a matching die marker on the reverse. The die crack was more horizontal. I will show below a shot of the crack and of the marker. It is a small die scratch or polish mark that comes off the inside bottom of the left wheat stalk.

Hope you don't mind if I post photos.
Note die chip in 'S' and small incuse mark protruding from the back of the seven.
    Scratched die lines above '7'.

No doubt when you use die marks to compare.
