    Here is a unofficial constantin II bust I1 campgate coin from Trier. The head has is a double strike. Mint is STRE, obv. constantinusivnnobc, rev. providen-tiaeavgg. Gate has 5 rows. RIC VII nr 513, but this one is a hybrid and not in the footnotes.

    Really enjoying the double strike posts lately. Wonderful addition.

    Why do you say it's unofficial?

    @gsimonel,
    Because of the bad lettering, but that is of course not always a good indication. Also, I have not found the coin RIC specifies, and therefore have no visual reference.

    If someone put a gun to my head and forced me to pass judgement, I'd think it was official. I've never seen an unofficial LRB with that bust type, but that doesn't mean much, and you have the coin in hand, so you're in a better position to make the call than I am.

    I suspect you are right, the text has shifted a bit in places which gives the wrong impression. Thank you!
