Rare legend on a common Claudius II coin

    The DIVO CLAVDIO coins are extremely common, and of the several varieties the four-square CONSE/ACRATIO altar reveres is probably the most common.

    The vast majority of these coins have the basic DIVO CLAVDIO obverse legend, but it seems rather rare for the longer and more interesting legend, DIVO CLAVDIO GOTHICO!

    I know nothing about these, so was hoping that maybe I could page @Claudius_Gothicus for some more info?

    Very interesting pair of coins there.

    Here's what I located on Wildwinds...

    Claudius II, Antoninianus, Milan.
    Obv: DIVO CLAVDIO GOTHICO, radiate head right
    Rev: CONSECRATIO, Flaming altar, dots in segments

    Officina letter P or T.

    Ref: RIC V-I 264.
    Rated: Scarce.
