Hi all! I recently bought this coin in a large lot on eBay. It is the reason why I bought the lot It seems to be a very poor condition antoninianus of Victorinus. However, the reverse, FORTVNA AVG, is extremely rare. I can only find one other example in my research (in much better condition). There are no examples listed on acsearch or OCRE https://www.colleconline.com/en/ite...5e-emission-premier-trimestre-271-fortvna-avg Might my coin be barbarous, or could it be an official issue? The obverse (at least what can be seen) is of good style, as is the reverse. I am sure there are experts in Gallic coinage here that know much more about this than me lol. Also, any ideas what I should do about the obverse? Thanks!
Not official, irregular coinage like this specimen from the Cunetio hoard, but still an interesting coin !
