I was just checking out all my merc dimes looking for verity's and I noticed this one matches the large s but I'm not sure so I'm just asking to validate it and potential grade I'm sure it's on the really low end I'm just curious any help appreciated
You mean the 1945 micro S dime but your mm looks normal to me.I would grade it vg 10 and it's only worth melt value.Even if it was a micro S the price really doesn't increase unless its uncirculated.(specifically around 65 and up). https://www.usacoinbook.com/coins/1550/dimes/mercury/1945-S/micro
This is why I believed it is the 1941 s fs-511 large s because the part branch is touching the s and the normal mint mark s it doesn't touch it
Not a variety guy and don’t have an answer for you. But I much like the background for your coin photo.
Mint marks were hand punched into the die so your position is within tolerance and is quite normal. The large S as it shows is no where near the branch and your(S)isn't big enough.
