got this beauty online at ebay auction..there is doubling on liberty & the initials and igwt, my luck most likely the non impressive kind , lol also got 5 clip lincolns so they are in this lot as well from same vendor... i hurt my back severely yesterday battling snow, so did not post yesterday's post finds..so here they is: also the 1976 lmc is slightly rotated dies, and slight struck through on reverse as well...enjoy!! 271091662_297732948980130_326277155805524965_n.jpg 271444954_1111382489704151_3042085493993023226_n.jpg 271243597_1359858864445982_3119490765436234530_n.jpg 271489609_681753549644944_1375919107316242047_n.jpg 270120739_251543590394457_6665221368871452183_n.jpg 270236153_240258891491251_8800071692773581670_n.jpg 271096441_446616070284669_2803330677682923576_n.jpg 271277569_597558264678067_6569726169723945577_n.jpg 271193071_254040170144198_1679424038501373883_n.jpg 271263487_1010200872862714_964424686103344509_n.jpg

The pictures aren't distinct enough to dx any doubling. I'm in for a provisional struck-through grease on that reverse.

ok, here are som (better) pics, i used a 10 x magnifier for my poor eyes..as i said, most likely machine or stuttering doubling 270189000_1567961860225589_7037840854728269728_n.jpg 271187636_681217789546066_1246353778301811972_n.jpg 271249909_1086616098856277_1272557530796075896_n.jpg , but at least you can see it, most "real" doubled dies are impossible to see even under mag.

Its not true die doubling. No split serifs. What characteristics do you see that indicates this was hub doubling? Did you check variety vista or Wexlers doubleddie site? Does it match any examples there?

Notice how the die is worn (radial flow lines). What you think is doubling is only due to common die deterioration

it's ok, i see doubling and i like it, most real "doubled dies" you can only see under a microscope or tell by a die scratch, i like the ones i can see..lol even if worthless doubling
