Well I have always loved collecting 1983 errors.
Well I decided to send some of my coins to NGC and I am very happy with the results.
2 of the were body bagged for rev damage and 1 for wheel marks.

You've got some beauties there. Can't help but wonder, why you didn't get a Saddle Strike designation on your Double Struck both Off Center. Nevertheless, their awesome...

Nice coins! Is the year 1983 special or did that year just have a lot of error coins?

Very nice errors - cool coins.

I thought NGC now put them in a details slab versus body bagging? Is that an option or something? Just curious.

They do unless you request them not to!!
My 3 are coming back in the detail slabs.

Well I learned something new today. I did not know you could request them to "not" come back in a details slab. Thanks.

I guess I didn't realize how many errors are out there, especially for one year! Very nice collection you have there.
