    Hey Gang!!

I picked this coin up as a little coin show here this past weekend. Not particularly in my area of interest but to find a coin this old with luster on it the price seemed like a good deal.

This is a silver tram and it was minted between 1198-1219AD

The obverse shows: The king seated on a throne ornamented with lions and wearing a crown. He holds a cross in his right hand and a Fleur-De-Lys in his left. The legend reads "Levon is king of the Armenians".

The reverse shows: Long cross between 2 lions Rampant & Regardant. The legend reads "By the will of god"
