Pair of '42 no mint mark. I have this theory about coins with the same year, and mint mark, that i find the same day. But that's for another time. Disappointed
That is an excellent observation, didn't even occur to me! What do you think @dwhiz? Train track nickel? And thank you @Bradley Trotter not only the suggestion, but for the perfectly written sentence. An art i see fading too quickly.
Sorry, it was in a post above. Nickel i found today. I thought it was rolled through some sort of press but @Bradley Trotter said train tracks. I've seen you post a few, what do you think? It starts thinner and gets thicker, if that helps.
@enamel7 thanks for stopping by. Of course i was joking. Just a little example of my strange sense of humor. Everyone knows that's the Capitol building on the back of the nickel.
Ooooo Don't think i have the '94 for my circulated proof set. Always fun finding a new date or state, for that project.
Oldest and i need to check, but i think this is four buffalo in four days. Kinda cool 1927. 95 years old, and i found her today, in circulation. Crazy. I'm humbled, coin gods, thank you. *edit It's not four in four days. Sorry
To answer your question, yes! !!! Not sure if it's mine, but i definitely found one (Back into circulation after pics though)
