I have a few coins consigned into the Bowers and Merena March 2010 Baltimore sale. I logged into their website today to look at the lots and noticed that they have completely redesigned the site. They have also improved their imaging DRAMATICALLY. I just wanted to point it out and give them an "atta boy" for the new site. Much better!
I agree. Was just looking as some of the lots in their upcomming auction at Baltimore. Great pics, with hi-res enlargements.
Haven't looked at it closely yet but like the new look. One big disadvantage with Bowers and Merena, though, is their failure to show the whole slab in a photo or otherwise indicate the coin's cert. number, making it difficult (and sometimes impossible) to trace a coin's sales history through a BandM auction.
Since they tossed Dave Bowers out, I will not even look at their site, or take a free auction catalogue.
