1997 P Washington Quarter-Rim Error Reverse?

Hi guys,

I have this 1997 P Washington Quarter and would like to know what is happening with the right side of the rim on the reverse? Why is the rim split? And is this a fold over rim fin or a small cud ?

Thank you for your answer. This is what is was in question about. Whether it was in fact, a rim cud.

 

I'm not a good one to say, but to me it looks like a slightly finned rim that bent over. Let's see what @Fred Weinberg and/or @paddyman98 say...

She mentioned folded over rim fin. That's the first thing I think of.
