Thanks for letting me know! :)

I guess I'll check again when the coins arrive. According to USPS that should be Monday.

Thankfully they sent me my coins back via Priority Mail rather than Ground :/.

I'm also super happy that they made sure to get insurance for my coins since USPS has lost stuff of mine before. Most recently a package of 26 low grade Peace Dollars that I bought as bullion.

A few days was probably not the right statement my bad, if you check it in like several hours they could be there but it’s normal for them to not show up as soon as you get the grades.

I really like they use priority or express for higher stuff too. Registered is abysmal waiting for and makes little difference now anyways.

I'd say. I sent mine in a month before she did and there are only 4 of them.
    And Happy New Year! Cheech.

Yeah bad about @Fred Weinberg retirement but he’s still important and loves us. He feels no pain

Those grades are awesome!! What tier did you use? I used express, which were supposedly delivered to PCGS on 11/5 and still no grades. I called the consignor today and they said Well, PCGS is busy! 63 days and nothing…

My world modern from then has had minimal movement. Did just get the grades from my submission from GC that was a week earlier though so hopefully some movement coming soon

They “the consignée” was also sitting on 35 graded coins since 11-4. I called this morning and told them to return them.

Nothing you can do if they want them back and dont want to wait anymore. Realistically though it will just significantly extend the time for them

My post was likely confusing. I shipped out for consignment to GC, which included 35 NGC & PCGS graded coins and 32 raw sealed boxes Morgan’s/Peace. They were received 11/4. As of this morning, they hadn’t listed the 35 graded coins nor were the grades back on the Morgan’s/Peace. I’d selected express for those. I had also sent 2 emails for status which went unanswered. Their service has really declined. They blamed PCGS for the delay on the Morgan’s/Peace. I replied that doesn’t explain why the graded coins received by you on 11/4 haven’t been listed…I’d told them to just return my 35 graded coins. Seems I was brushed off the call.

The amazing part is the Ds getting 70s. I screened my order and had to send a couple back to the mint that were damaged. My two Ds got 69s. One expected, one not expected. Both my Peace got 70s. All Ps and Ss got 70s. The one O I sent got a 70. 2 of 3 CCs got 70s. Expected all 3 to get 70s.
It doesn't take much to get a 69 grade on these. I looked at one for someone that couldn't figure out how it got a 69 and you roll it around and there was a tiny unnatural flash on the edge of rim, like a chip. Could only see it if light hit it a certain way. That was the only thing wrong I could find and NGC caught it. Overall 70s aren't that rare or amazing on these if you screen them. The vast majority sent in are getting 70s with the Ds being the toughest.

I just sent in everything I got after a very basic quick look to make sure there was nothing glaringly obvious like whoever got the MS62.

I did notice something that appears to be a mistake though.

This is my 2nd MS70 D and if you look at the reverse there is some sort of scratch through the first L in “DOLLAR”.

However PCGS does say some coins with “as minted defects” can still get 70 so I’m wondering if that’s what this is.

    Looks like a strike through?

Im not quite sure what it is. I looked at it via 10x magnification and it looked really weird. Not like a normal scratch. I wish I could show you guys but idk how to take photos with that much magnification applied. :/

masterswimmer A Caretaker, can't take it with me

    A scratch would be incuse.
A strike through would be raised. Yours definitely appears to be raised from the above pic.

I said strike through as soon as I saw it too.
