struck through quarter, link below 229.90 https://www.ebay.com/itm/393781404242?hash=item5baf336252:g:fqIAAOSwaUZhs2Nl
the last cent from 2021 btought over 2021, they are buying them, these errors are super rare so even the smallest grease strike, and especially after paying a tpg'r 75.00 for labeling...yup
don't really care if you do (hijack) i think it is interesting how ya start talking about avocados and end on global nuclear termination plot twists, eh??
The thing about strike thru's is you rarely find one that stays retained, for multiple strikes. I still don't trust my coin, even though it shows zero displacement of metal. I may not ever know, unless I find another one like it. My point? Most of the interesting strike thru's are one of a kind. But 200$ that seems high. Who knows maybe I find another one down the road?
here is a cheap one (only 75.00 struck through a rime burr https://www.ebay.com/itm/373266322117?hash=item56e86812c5:g:NnsAAOSw6AhfggTV
and this one for $ 550.00 (lol) https://www.ebay.com/itm/175088714087?hash=item28c419c167:g:RWwAAOSwL2hhzmNb nice error, i would pay like 75.00////
I would rather call that one a lamination. If it was a struck through you would see the clad layer, and not copper core.
Interesting. I went to the auction link, and it tells me it is a seller I have bought something from. Can't for the life of me figure out what it was I bought.
yes, a rim burr that is struck through is what i call it...sometimes they call die breaks cuds even if not a rim it is a vendor to vendor terminology difference
