It is indeed a die crack but I don't think it has any every value because it's not particularly extreme and the coin is very common. Definitely a cool find though! I found a die crack on one of my 1921 Morgan Dollars a few days go.
Die cracks are just a worn die issue. On modern coins they really should not have any kind of premium.. But on Etsy they are worth thousands
Etsy is like the Wild Wild West of coin collecting. I saw someone on there once selling a Trajan denarius for $5,000 as a "very rare ancient Roman artifact that belongs in a museum". It was the exact same Trajan denarius that I have except mine was XF and the one on Etsy was Ch VF. The seller is trying to mislead people into believing that all ancient coinage is somehow super rare and valuable an worth thousands or tens of thousands of dollars.
Die crack and other plating issues. NAV IMO. It would be nice to show the entire coin, even though your close-up photo is good and of the area you are asking about, seeing the rest of the coin can lead to a more concise evaluation. Just my opinion.
