You do realize that the dies are responsible for transferring the engraved image to a blank planchet right? Can you imagine what the die that made that coin would need to look like to produce the distortions not only on your coin but every coin it struck?
Don’t even bother, it appears as if this fool’s account has recently been memory-holed by the Mod team.
To bad, he could have learned a lot here. I remember I posted some pretty ridiculous stuff here at first before I knew better, lol
Again OP, be nice! We are here with knowledge, experience, and opinion. Accept or deny, it's entirely up to you. If you are convinced prior to your post, you do not need us. Good luck!
He didn't want to learn. He only argued that everyone was wrong when given the answer. And he cursed us out. I reported him. He also asked on another thread to have his account deleted. He got what he wanted. We don't have time for people that come here and start crap. It's going to be a new year and we need to get serious and enjoy CoinTalk.. Not have some fool give everyone a hard time.
How much does anyone want to bet that this thread gets resurrected at least twice by "new members" who "have a coin just like this one" and want to know "whether they should send it in for grading"?
I don't know about you but I'd like to see one slabbed one day with some smart@$$ remark on the label, lol.
