Lmao y’all so funny it has letters on the rim out of place the eagle has two spots one in the chest has the missing metal going down the leg. It has errors all over it.
Submit it for error-attribution, then, and demand top dollar for it. We’re not going to pay you nothing because we think it’s just damage.
Surely you jest. Any coin would look like that if it had been rolling around on a busy parking lot for 35 years.
The only thing I can think is you guys can’t zoom in and observe the obvious. Laugh now I’ll let y’all know what make.
au contraire, tis you that are being funny. Damaged coin . . .period. No errors, other than the error that it is still in circulation.
Brian, do you like being on CT? If so, I suggest you change your attitude and your language! If you continue like this, you'll be gone soon! The moderators can ban you easily!
You are welcome to stay, but please realize that most, if not all, of what you have posted have been coins that are just damaged. No one is going to tell you that they are valuable. Spend some time reading posts here and looking at the pictures if you would like to become knowledgeable about coins. BTW, what do you think error coins are? They are coins that have an error in the striking stage of the coin, damage after minting is referred to here as PMD, Post Minting Damage. Anyone can make "errors' of this kind, that's why they are only worth face value.
Just saying I’m the one looking through a loop and know some of the placements are impossible to do by pmd i hate that you guys can’t see what I do but I will certainly try and get some pictures
If you take the time to learn and study the minting process, you'll easily understand why this cannot be a mint error. Coins are struck in a collar, so it can't have the uneven, out of round appearance. A coin can be struck without a collar and is called broadstruck. Your coin doesn't look anything like a broad struck error. Go to www.error-ref.com and look at the examples
Someone definitely abused that coin... I'm still pretty new to this too but there's no possible way that came from the mint like that. The people here know their stuff inside and out and have nothing to gain or lose from your coin. They just give honest answers, opinions and advice of their own free will because they are awesome.
