So I picked this up today from the LCS. I’ve been thinking about filling and album of these. I was thinking a working man’s set might look good and circulated coins. I love the later dates and can get most of them for a fair price but I am worried about have the short set look BU and the early stuff worn.
You guys that have put these together which ones are difficult to find? I welcome suggestions on what makes a set look good and suggestions on putting one together.

First, squeeze the staples with some pliers. Avoid damage to near
by coins. Many collectors put together sets with the earlier dates
with some wear and as they get closer to the later dates, they
collect coins that have less wear. It does make for a nice display
in an album. I've done it with Buffalo nickels, Merc dimes and
    the Walkers.

The higher the grade, the tougher to find and the most costly it gets.

If you want the whole set and are worried about it all looking the same, stay with a G VG. if you want to upgrade them later you always can. It's not hard in those grades. The 1921 p,d,s will be the key dates. With the d the absolute key. So you might look at those and see what they're selling for in each grade range.
