Hello everyone, I just bought a USB Microscope (finally) and here is some pictures of my 1971 Lincoln DDO .. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea what it might grade in at since I am considering sending it off to ANACS.. I have researched the coin and based on prices realized for similiar coins I'm hoping it grades at MS65 or MS66 ( a one of a kind then ). Any help will be appreciated. Every letter and number have obvious doubling.

nice luster...as long as the cheek is clean should be a MS 65+

That's a nice coin...but do you think all of those tiny hairline scratches on the fields will allow it to get MS grading?

You must see both side of the coin to grade it accurately.

Those scratches would be a definite concern!!

Most of what I am seeing appear to me to be die polish lines, but scratches will not affect whether or not it is MS, but it will definitely affect the grade.

front and back pictures.. I have compared mine to a MS64 that sold for 6,000 at Heritage Auction , the MS64 had much more surface wear then mine and also did not have doubling on every letter and number or else was so minimal you couldn't see it.

    Thanks

I appreciate your time everyone. Thanks. I'd be happy with a MS65. Still debating if I want to send it to be graded or not.

    Any thoughts on this one?

I tried to post this one last year but didn't have the USB Microscope. To me it looks like it could be a number two like in the 2 for 1982 in the date. Sorry about the second picture, if you click on it it'll enlarge. I don't know what happened.
