Morgan 1884 - Not sure what this is

    You can see were I´m pointing the arrow, The thing is raised. Any one willing to explain this to me :)

    It's a clash mark. (It's from the lower portion of Liberty's cap on the obv).

    In general clashes are pretty common on Morgans, certain areas are very common, and some areas are rare. The clash on your coin is in a very common area.
