I was dumbfounded when I received this book in the mail on Saturnalia...

An awesome friend sent this to me, and was very much a surprise. :) Thank you for the incredibly kind gesture, @ominus1

It really livened my day, and in queued up into my Reading Rainbow group! I am already reading 5 books simultaneously right now... soon it will be picked up to be read!

    Thank you! and
    Kindest Regards,
    Brian

Am always glad when someone features a book they are reading, especially one of high quality, like the one you feature here. Thank you. Does your "reading group" focus on numismatic books? That would be really neat.

LOL, no, I am not part of a reading group. Personally read 4-5 books simultaneously. I have since I was a tad.

Numismatic books? ...Ancient coins reference books (I do not count that as part of my book reading.) Normal book reading? Ancient History, World History, Sci-Fi, good action non-fiction, etc. etc. Enjoy wide range, eclectic.
    :)

Mostly physical books so that I can mark them up, annotate, comment, etc. (sorry book-fans, you would never want to read any of my books... however, I am severely dyslexic, and this is the best way to consume books.)

Yes.yes--books are to be consumed, like a great feast! I make one trip to the library each week, get 5-6 books. Have been reading up on Cold War history, Newfoundland history and coins, and some detective mysteries.

Always a concern in the back of my mind...

Fortunately, I do not need glasses for reading...
