2000 P Virginia State Quarter

    Does anyone have a idea if this is just toning or something different. It weights 5.74 Grams. I have seen toning of different colors but to me it looks like a really nice green. Of course I have to be somewhat color blind so anything is possible. I have searched a fair amount of coins but have not seen one like this. I used the flash on a couple hoping that might help.

    I find a lot of state quarters that look like that in my change.
    I even put one in my 7070. 78.jpg

    No such thing as "nice green" on a coin. LOL
    Looks like ED, environmental damage to me. Someone going on with the rim, but not sure what.

    From the reverse it's almost like a low tire you can see the rim taper off and actually see the reeded edge without tipping it at all. It's hard to describe. Definitely different from any others.
