I messed up the post and can't figure out how to eddit it but I scoped it and used a magnifine glass and I can see the c but it's real hard could I still call it a cc or just a full seated dime I know it's holed and filled but it's still cool to find that

Snagged this off ebay a couple years ago. Was listed as a 1890 "P". If you looked at the picture you would have seen that it was a cc coin pictured. Knowing mbarrcoins has the item pictured is the item you'll receive guarantee, nothing to lose. Wait till the last second and figure the cc is worth 50 right? Drop that at the last second and won it at 36.00.

I can't see the c, but I have bad eyesight and your pics could be better (which is usually the case with mine as well). I've never pulled a Carson City coin in a junk bin or large lot, but I have found some rarer date Morgans, quarters and dimes in same over the years. Congrats on the find!

Wow Vertigo, that was a great deal on that Morgan!

I have pulled two 1879-CC Morgan dollars out of the junk bins. The first one cost $21.00 and the second $33.00, still have them both.

I pulled a CC Morgan from a junk silver pile. Can’t remember the date as the coin is tucked away. I bought 10 junk Morgan Dollars that day from the same dealer. He not very nice to customers and rude to his employees. I only paid $180.00 so $18.00 a piece.

Once a long time ago there was a collectibles shop at the mall where I lived at in Ohio and they had several small bowls filled with quote on quote junk coins and I pulled a cc morgan dollar in very poor condition but I only paid 5 bucks for the coin

Yes, I’ve pulled two, a 1890 and 1892. Both have small rim dings.

Once pulled an extremely worn 1876-CC dime out of junk silver for junk silver price. The CC is visible though, and you can even see it's the DDR. It currently lives in my wallet.
