Forgot to mention the 1923 peace dollar I got yesterday is a Frisco and a decent example.These had a rough life it shows some luster so at least au.The question is this odd mark,doesn't appear to be damage a lamination possibly?.
The metal is worn but it looks higher and rounded on the right size so that makes me think it’s damaged.
