Searched the coin star slot and found this 1944 D U.S Philippines. 20 Centavos. Not in great shape but hey, free silver
I can't believe how much stuff I have found in them over the years. People dump their coins in and anything that winds up in the reject slot they figure is worthless.
The condition is not that bad. The melt value is over $2 and there is a rare 1944 D/S variety. (IDK but I don't think this is it.) I've been looking for foreign silver in CS for years. Nice find.
Most recently found a steel cent but a few days ago I got a whole pile left on top that totaled around 12 euro which I will get to use this summer
I was at a store waiting for someone to finish with the coinstar, and I saw there were quite a few coins in the reject bin. The guy then proceeded to take the coins and throw them in the trash.
