My 1985 penny has an extended line from the bottom of lincolns coat through the words trust. The picture doesn't show it that great but it is like a line bubble... I don't know what this is called....
you can see it a little better with this one. the line goes right under the 5 (1985) straight through the word trust.
I guess it wont show up. It is like a air bubble line that loops the bottom edge of his coat, right under the number 5 and goes through the ust in trust.
Hi, It's not an error. Many copper plated 1982 cents and many cents minted thereafter have the same thing. It has been addressed in earlier posts. It has to do with the plating during the strike and is extremely common. Not an error and only worth one cent. Have Fun, Bill
