    No one else in the family enjoys coin collecting except me. I know they wouldn’t go into a coin shop. They still wouldn’t go even if I went, picked out the coin and a price was set. So what do I do? I just buy a coin for myself. That way I don’t have to wrap it. Lol

    Here’s the one I bought for this year. A nice looking, slightly toned, $1.00 gold coin. It’s an 1856, slanted 5 in AU. First year of it’s type. A Indian Princess Head, Large Head. They were minted from 1856-1889. A total of 1,762,936 were minted. The darker tones on the obverse are toning.

    Here is the only one I own.

    And, NO, I don't wear it. Just got it this way and it isn't easily removable so left it in the bezel.
