It would be prohibitively expensive to ship boxes of halves, especially if you're just searching them. The bank should order them for you, especially if you have an account there. Perhaps your friends or acquaintances can get them from their banks.
Find a teller you know and get him/her to order them, some local banks don't carry them but they can order them for you ... then deposit them at a different bank (less all of your keepers, of course) to not be considered pesky.
