Got this set off Ebay... all the coins are in a Dansco album of Bicentennial coins... I think I might put these with NGC and have them put into multicoin slabs.. Dansco albums do tone clads nicely...
Sweet. Sweet. Did that happen in a Dansco album? Be careful when you slide the Dansco windows to avoid scratches.
I didnt own the album over the last 34 yrs but I would say that the toning is very typical for Dansco toning on clads... I have no doubts that the coins are NT. I have other coins that I have taken out of Dansco albums that have similar toning patterns. The rarity is to find matching toning on all the coins.. usually there might be a couple of coins in a Dansco with toning but to find a P,D and S set is rare.
