Question about coin i found

    i found this coin on the observe side (dont really know which side is observe)There is twisted big star and 1976 and says "Calgary Salutes The U.S Bicentennial"On the other side There is guy doing bull riding and it says "Calgary Stampede Dollar"
    Any information?

    This coin is created as a token or commem for the Calgary Stampede, an annual event that is the biggest thing in Western Canada.

    I don't know if you have these in the U.S. but here in Canada they are called Trade Dollars and are issued by many communities to commemorate local events. They are very common and thus not too valuable. Here is an example from my own community
