I agree. It's a variety if others were intentionally-struck in medal-alignment and a rotation error if such were accidentally-struck in that alignment.
If you have a medal, take a photo of it yourself. If you've seen one in medal alignment, you've seen most of them.........except for those in coin alignment.
Pictures wouldnt do anything for something thats supposed to be 180 degrees different. It'll look the exact same as normal A coin essentially has to be graded for alignment to be verifiable by pictures other wise you can just rotate the coin during a picture
No ones doing selfies and no they dont really give good detail doing that. You have to angle a side to see the other
Of you let us know what medals they are. Maybe we can find some examples. Just trying to figure what they are. You can count me in! True that, The pair might have a premium if sold together or, an addition to the set. Unless you use the @cpm9ball method that we teach around here for rotation. PS, I suggest an airtite if they are Mint state.
This tax token is 90 degrees. Not sure if it is supposed to be coin or medal alignment. Either way is more curious than added premium, especially until I get some Verdicare. This works to show the rotation then close ups of the 2 sides would show the details.
Thank you for the demonstration of how easy this is to do. No "selfies". There is plenty of detail to show the non-alignment. No angling the coin to the side, you simply angle the camera to the side. This process is certainly much easier and more definitive, than some people would have us believe. Thank you again for your......participation !!
Yet what 20 percent of the coin isnt visible. That's super helpful...... You either believe someone enough for the rotation or worse yet you believe them for authenticity/grade. Now if someone just wants to ask to see a picture to see what it is thats a different story
Baseball, I really don't think you've been paying attention, so therefore I will just leave you to your own ruminations.
If that's the case, let them take their own dang picture! Hookman, you and others haven't been paying attention! My original question was to determine whether or not the medal was an error or a variety. Then everyone wants photos. Photos don't have anything to do with it! Get with the program!
